Folk Art in San Antonio Arrazola

This picturesque village, below the western slopes of Monte Alban, is internationally known for the crafting of Oaxacan wood carvings, also called Alebrijes. This is the home of the Jimenez Family who claim to have started the images of these colorful and whimsical creatures that are so popular today.
