This is another of the earliest Christian congregations and churches built in the highlands of Oaxaca and Mixtec Mountains, from the middle of the XVI Century and near the large town of Tlaxiaco. The building has several original wooden altars in situ and also great oils by famous artists such as Andres de Concha and Jose Gonzalez. The newly restored Convent is opened to visit Tuesdays to Sundays from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
