Folk Art in San Pedro Amuzgos

This village is on the western slopes of the Sierra Sur region of Oaxaca and north of the coastal town of Pinotepa Nacional. This is a community of backstrap weavers of fine brocaded blouses (huipils) that take months to weave and since they come in a variety of colors and are very lightweight, they are very popular in Oaxaca. Available in most shops and markets in the City of Oaxaca.
